Jared M. Wichnovitz, Esq. serves as Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Adam M. Thompson, P.C., where he brings a broad and dynamic legal background to the firm’s litigation and appellate practice. Mr. Wichnovitz earned his J.D. from New York Law School in 2020. During law school, he served as a legal intern with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, in the Mental Health Advocacy Division, where he represented clients facing civil commitment and competency hearings. After graduation, he continued in a supervised capacity as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender (ADPD) while preparing for the bar exam, gaining valuable courtroom and client advocacy experience early in his career.
Before opening his own practice, Mr. Wichnovitz worked with a well-regarded employment and criminal defense firm, where he represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of complex matters, including discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, and criminal prosecutions. He also gained practical litigation experience at a high-volume personal injury firm, managing numerous cases simultaneously and negotiating favorable outcomes for injured clients.
Mr. Wichnovitz is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
