- People of the State of New York v. Santos - Press Case and America's Most Wanted
television show featured story. Murder case dismissed at trial where Mr. Thompson, during cross examination, had eye witness admit he did not see defendant commit the crime. Case dismissed by Court on motion.
- People of the State of New York v. Devonish - Weapon possession charges. Client found not guilty by jury.
- People of the State of New York v. Peralta - Press Case. Following jury
trial client had felony charges reduced to misdemeanor and sentenced to a
conditional discharge and fine, no jail.
- People of the State of New York v. Favia - Driving while intoxicated charges. Defendant found not guilty and acquitted in under 5 minutes.
- People of the State of New York v. Boyd - Lawyer accused of fleeing scene of crime. Case dismissed after trial by judge.
- United States of America v. Ebhara - Press Case. Client accused of obtaining lewd materials via the Internet. Client received probation and home confinement following extensive presentence argument and Memorandum of Law by Mr. Thompson persuading Federal Judge to deviate from Federal Sentencing guidelines and grant a downward departure.
- People of the State of New York v. Jalca - Press Case. Appeal Decision printed in NY Law Journal. Client accused of assault. Case won on appeal on ground breaking legal argument concerning Prosecutor not turning over notes contained in a dairy of complaining witness. Case later reduced to violation.
